What started out as a hobby in 1983 has grown into a full-scale family owned operation.  Having hatched and produced several types of game birds in the past, we are presently concentrating on our native strain pheasants.  We have been able, due to having had a hatchery from the beginning,  to concentrate our efforts on producing a pheasant that looks and performs the way hunting service facility owners and managers want and need.  These are not the traditional "captive reared" birds!  We started with native breeding stock and have been able to maintain that line to this day.  A Blue Hill pheasant looks and acts like the native birds we see here in the heart of pheasant country every day.  They explode fast, fly hard, and know how to use cover like a native bird.
